Arts Award

Arts Award is managed by Trinity College London in association with the Arts Council England. It is an inspirational, creative, valuable and accessible initiative for children and young people up to the age of 25 to explore and engage in the arts. Arts Award can be achieved at five levels, four accredited qualifications and one introductory level award.

We are delighted to announce that Love Art and Craft is a registered Arts Award centre, qualifying us to deliver and assess Arts Award at both the Discover and Explore Levels.

Discover: This is the Introductory Level award where children and young people discover the arts around them, find out about artists and their work and share their experiences with others. It takes around 20 hours to complete and participants are issued with a certificate at the end.

Explore: This award is accredited as an Entry Level 3 qualification where children and young people collect their arts experiences in an Explore arts log as they go along, recording what they find and enjoy. It takes around 25 hours to complete.

Love Art and Craft can provided a fully trained Arts Award advisor to deliver Art Award at your school either during the school day, for example, during teachers PPA time, through a team-teaching timetabled session or alternatively as an after school activity with smaller groups.

We will take care of all the relevant paperwork from collating the arts logs to assessing the work and issuing certificates.

Artsmark

If your school is applying for Artsmark status then Love Art and Craft can support you through that journey in a number of different ways. Including providing after school art clubs (which all children thoroughly enjoy), and facilitating Arts Award at both Discover and Explore Levels, accessible for Key Stage 1 and 2 pupils.

We have a wide range of artists and designers that work with us to provide affordable solutions where all your pupils can get involved and experience working with a professional arts organisation.
